How YOU can be an Official Running Barefoot Representative

How YOU can be an Official Running Barefoot representative!

Running Barefoot is growing in popularity, and we could use several more Official Running Barefoot Representatives in many parts of the world (or other worlds).

The pay is nothing (literally: nothing, $0.00) to get excited about (at least it won’t put you in a higher tax bracket). And just think of how wonderful being one of our Official Running Barefoot Representatives will look on your resume’ next time you apply for C.E.O. of a fortune 500 company!

We don’t mind crowding a few reps into a small highly populated area… And with what we’re paying you, we can afford all the reps we can get (preferably good reps).

The responsibilities are practically negligble, unless you want to work really hard. SO, IF you:

  1. Love talking (or writing) about Running Barefoot with others.
  2. Would enjoy answering occassional emails (if you feel like it) posted through the Running Barefoot Contact form (about once or twice a week)
  3. Would love to be interviewed by local, national, international, and, (possibly) interplanetary, journalists about Running Barefoot.
  4. Are interested in hosting occassional Running Barefoot Workshops in your area.
  5. Are interested in becoming one of our Official Running Barefoot Representatives

The requirements are as follows:

  1. Have been running barefoot for at least one calendar year (not necessarily through the winter in snow)
  2. Have run at least 500 miles barefoot (your estimate)
  3. Have completed at least two “official” running races (5K or longer) while barefoot (if your first barefoot running event was at least a year ago, that – along with a photo of you barefoot at that event – can be used as confirmation of running barefoot for a full calendar year).
  4. Have been a registered user at RunningBarefoot.org, or the Yahoo! Running Barefoot forum for at least six months.
  5. Have posted something “interesting”, about Running Barefoot, at least twice (total) at RunningBarefoot.org, or on the Yahoo! Running Barefoot forum.
  6. Have added yourself to the Map of Barefoot Runners on Earth

-Note: Items 4 and 5 may be waived in the event you have a really good personal website about Running Barefoot.

  • Moderators of the Running Barefoot Yahoo! forum which means you would get to help fight spam by moderating first time posters, and promoting them to regular posters.
